The heart and soul of recovery from addiction is service to others and Puente House sober livings are complimented by our non-profit, the Puente House Foundation. Our members and a wide body of supporters raise funds throughout the year to support now only recovering addicts and alcoholics, but to support needs in the greater Los Angeles community as well.
It’s an unsolicited testament to the power of recovery that many of our former residents are now active members of our foundation. By supporting the work we do, the foundation carries the message of sobriety and extends the hope for recovery to all who are so desperately in need.
Whether you find us serving up Thanksgiving dinner, playing Santa at Christmas, Running for Recovery or putting in some time practicing our swing on the greens—it’s all in the name of good fun and recovery, but there is a deadly earnestness about it. We are called to put the selfishness of addiction behind us and spread our talents and usefulness into the world around us. Our lives and our sobriety depend on it. Take a moment to meet the members of our board and learn a little more about how you can support the important work we are doing.
