Sober Living For Women

Sober Living Homes for Women

Are you fresh out of treatment, trying to rebuild your life one step at a time, or looking for a safe place for your daughter, sister, or friend who is ready to get back on her feet?

Either way, welcome.

At The Puente House, we believe in the magic of “we.” Recovery isn’t a solo mission; it’s something we do side by side, hand in hand, heart to heart. Here, women lift each other, swap wisdom, share strength, and cheer one another on as they build lives full of purpose, growth, and second chances.

Our mission is to help you rediscover your worth (it’s there, promise!), embrace your unique strengths, and recognize how much you bring to the table. Spoiler alert: it’s a lot.

Rooted in the 12-step tradition, our program offers a strong foundation of support through fellowship. But more than that, we’ve created a home —a community grounded in mutual respect, genuine connection, and the belief that healing occurs best in healthy relationships.

We know how powerful it is when a woman sees herself clearly, with hope, dignity, and self-love. That’s why we’ve built a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. Recovery is a journey; here, you don’t have to walk it alone.

A Safe, Supportive Environment

Our sober living home is just that: a home. Not a dorm, not a halfway house that feels like a holding cell. We maintain a structured approach without feeling stiff. There’s accountability here, laughter, shared rides, coffee runs, late-night heart-to-hearts in the kitchen, and group chats full of memes. Residents follow simple rules (curfew, chores, meetings, sobriety, the basics), but there’s room to be yourself, too.

Recovery-Focused Living (with a splash of real life)

We’re deeply rooted in 12-step recovery. Why? Because it works. Residents attend AA or NA meetings regularly (we’ll even help you find good ones nearby). We’ve got sponsor support, check-ins, and weekly house meetings. But this is also about life after rock bottom: job hunting, budgeting, cooking, laundry that doesn’t pile up until you can’t find your socks. You know, grown-up stuff. We do it together.

Affordable Sober Living (because healing shouldn’t bankrupt you)

Life isn’t cheap, I know. However, we’ve made it a priority to offer truly affordable sober living for women without compromising on quality. We’re talking clean, comfortable bedrooms, shared spaces that don’t feel like a hostel, and utilities/Wi-Fi included. No hidden fees. No shady “program fees” that somehow add up to a Lexus payment.

Frequently asked questions

How much does sober living cost in Covina?

We offer affordable sober living in Covina for $800 per month. That includes rent, utilities, and Wi-Fi. We keep pricing transparently because surprise fees aren’t part of recovery.

Do you accept women coming directly from rehab or detox?

Yes! Many of our residents come from inpatient treatment or detox programs. We’ll work with your case manager or discharge planner to ensure a smooth transition.

Is your house 12-step-based?

Are visitors allowed?

We have visitor guidelines to keep the home safe and comfortable. All visitors must be sober and approved by house management. No overnight guests, this is a recovery space first.

What if I relapse?

Relapse happens, but our priority is your safety and sobriety in the house. We have a clear, compassionate policy in place. Depending on the situation, we’ll help you get back into detox or treatment and welcome you back when you’re ready.
