Admissions & Pricing

Puente House Admissions & Pricing

Suppose you’ve ever Googled “affordable sober living” only to be greeted with a list of options that cost more than your old rent. Welcome to the recovery world’s worst-kept secret: a lot of places charge like they’re beachfront Malibu. Here at Puente House, we’ve decided to do things a little differently by actually keeping things affordable.

Our monthly rate is $800 for both the women’s sober living house and the men’s sober living homes. That’s it. No hidden fees, no weird “intake charges,” no $300 fines if you breathe funny on a Tuesday. Just $800 a month for safe, clean, structured sober living in Covina.

Why We Keep It Affordable

Because sobriety shouldn’t be a luxury item.

We believe in second chances without credit card debt. While some sober homes offer granite countertops and infinity pools, we provide real recovery, real structure, and a real community at a price real people can afford.

Who This Is For

  • People fresh out of rehab or detox
  • Those looking for affordable sober living in Covina, West Covina, Pasadena, Azusa, or beyond
  • Anyone serious about recovery, needing a structured environment
  • Men and women ages 18+ willing to live in a clean, sober, and respectful home

Whether you’re from down the block or flying in from out of state, we’ve got a bed, a plan, and a bunch of people who get it.

What You Get for $800 a Month

  • A room in one of our structured sober living homes (two for men, one for women)
  • All utilities included (electric, water, trash, Wi-Fi)
  • House meetings, accountability, and built-in community
  • Weekly random drug and alcohol testing
  • Walkable access to meetings, jobs, food, and transportation
  • A crew of housemates and managers who are serious about staying clean

Our homes are situated near Citrus Avenue, the Covina Alano Club, and a diverse range of taco shops, job opportunities, and recovery resources in the San Gabriel Valley.

There’s no timer on your healing.

Some residents stay 90 days. Others stay a year or longer. As long as you’re staying sober, working a program, and contributing to the house, you’re welcome.

Many of our alumni go on to sponsor others, launch recovery podcasts, or just become awesome neighbors, parents, and friends.

Frequently asked questions

Do you drug test?

Yes. Random drug and alcohol testing is part of our accountability system. It keeps our homes safe and helps us stay focused on sobriety.

Do I need to be in a 12-step program?

We’re a 12-step-based recovery program and encourage participation.

How long can I stay?

There’s no hard limit. Some stay for a few months, while others stay longer. As long as you’re working a program and contributing to the house, you’re welcome here.

Is there a curfew?

Yes, and it’s reasonable. Our goal isn’t to control you; it’s to help you create healthy habits. Plus, nothing good ever happens after midnight, right?
